The Best Jeans for Women at Every Price - Vogue

Posted: 28 Aug 2020 10:37 AM PDT

The best jeans for women are the pairs you want to live in: Ones you can wear over and over again, and that get better each time you slip them on. They're the styles that might be a small investment, but have a large return and last for seasons to come. If you're in the market for new denim this fall, keep in mind that trends come and go, but classics are forever. A fresh and well-fitted pair of denim is personal, whether you prefer to find a single, perfect silhouette and stick to it, à la Tonne Goodman's stark white, straight leg, non-stretch denim Levi's, or keep a few favorites on rotation to switch up the wash or cut.

If you're not sure where to start, here's a handful of foolproof, can't-go-wrong silhouettes every woman should have in her wardrobe. Start with a form-fitting skinny with either a mid-rise or high waist, or consider classic stovepipe or bootcut jeans (both of which can be dressed up or down). Then try a more relaxed fit, say a pair of wide-leg or ankle-length jeans for the weekend. There are even pairs for the sustainably-minded, too. Regardless of your preferred style or shopping habits, sticking to simple, vintage-inspired washes with minimal (if any!) distressing is the way to go for added versatility. Of course, the hundreds of options on the market can still be daunting. We've gone through them all and found 24 perfect pairs of the best jeans for women right now, below.

Meghan Markle Was Seen Shopping at Whole Foods in Jeans and Ballet Flats - Yahoo Lifestyle

Posted: 01 Sep 2020 08:10 AM PDT

From ELLE

Meghan Markle isn't seen off duty much, but celebrity gossip Instagram account DeuxMoi ran intel about a Whole Foods sighting of Meghan back in January 2020, when she and Prince Harry were living in Canada. A screenshot of the submission, featuring a fan-taken shot of the Duchess shopping, was posted to Twitter, revealing how Meghan dresses for grocery trips. She wore a cream coat, skinny jeans, and Rothy's The Point black ballet flats (she has worn the eco-friendly black pointed-toe Rothy's pair before to events)—chic but casual.

News of the sighting comes around the same time news broke today of Meghan and Prince Harry volunteering in Los Angeles. The couple worked with Assistance League of L.A. to help preschool children "replant the Preschool Learning Center's garden," the organization wrote. Additionally, "they spent time with them, sharing their appreciation for nature and helping to instill the importance of healthy eating. We truly appreciate their time and care for our students. 🌱"

Meghan dressed down in denim too for the occasion, wearing a chambray top with darker wash jeans. She is wearing her black Rothy's flats there too.

Last week, Meghan's recent conversation with Gloria Steinem was published. The Duchess spoke about how thrilled she was that her son Archie was being raised with a self-identified "feminist" father, Prince Harry.

"I look at our son and what a beautiful example that he gets to grow up with a father who is so comfortable owning that as part of his own self-identification," Meghan said. "That there's no shame in being someone who advocates for fundamental human rights for everyone, which of course includes women."
